P7Offroad has successfully tendered to conduct community and commercial engagement in the development of two important projects...

1. Develop a community-based Code of Practice for recreational users of Tidal Wetlands.

2. Develop Best Management Practices for driving on Sandy Foreshores, and deliver a training program for users.

.

These projects are awareness raising and community engagement activities. Input has been sought from the Four Wheel Drive Clubs throughout the region and from the wider 4wd recreational and commercial sectors.

Preliminary meetings for discussion have been conducted in Bundaberg and Maryborough:

P7 Offroad is calling for applicants to join a Technical Working Group (TWG) for each project. TWG participants will be representative of recreational, commercial and regulatory organisations.
