Camper trailers are becoming an increasingly common sight on our backroads and camping areas. Many owners of camper trailers are experienced offroaders who have taken advantage of the extra comfort and convenience offered by a well-equipped camper trailer.

Our camper trailer courses are targeted at those who would like to increase their confidence both with and without the trailer in tow.

We conduct these courses at the excellent facilities of Landcruiser Mountain Park, near Jimna.

The campsites have toilets and hot showers, there are basic playground facilities, and even a little bike track for the kids. This course is designed to be a weekend away for the family.

Join us whenever you can, either Friday afternoon/evening or first thing Saturday Morning. We'll give you time to get setup and be there to offer you a hand if it's the first time that you have wheeled out the trailer.

Then it's into the foundations of our Introductory Course, remembering that we aim to be family friendly, so you won't just be trundling down tracks all day. Just bear in mind that with all this flexibility comes the need for you to be flexible too. This includes hill climbing, water crossings, recovery techniques and terrain assessment.

We'll continue for a while around the fire that evening, discussing touring suggestions and sharing tips and techniques.

Sunday morning, we'll get packed up and head off to consolidate some of Saturday's newly discovered confidence, this time with the trailer in tow, in full touring spec. This will include some terrain that you could consider challenging.

We'll wrap up around noon, to allow you plenty of time for a relaxed trip home to set and clean the camper up, ready for your next adventure.

Please note: our Camper Trailer Courses are not part of our regular schedule, and are organised as needed. If you would like to express your interest in the next available course, please contact us to discuss your needs. If you have a specific deadline in mind, a Private Course can always be arranged.
